The dark yellows and browns of the interior public areas were dated and depressing. LOVED the white color of the Memory Care section and the white color of the outside of the buildings... also LOVED the setting, views, and landscaping. The dark interiors make me hesitate what would otherwise be a slam dunk!

After visiting several retirement communities in southern CA, I have finally decided to put a possible move off for one or two years and stay in Virginia, where I currently live. If/when I decide to more into a California retirement community, Maravilla would be my top choice. I was very impressed.

If you initially select an independent living facility and pay all fees due at that time and you subsequently move into assisted living and then a few years later memory care, do you still have to pay the fees associated with assisted living and memory care?

I think Maravilla would suit our needs very much. I worry about the cost per month and whether, if we needed to move to Assisted Living someday, we'd have enough money per month to afford it. It's all about the money. We like everything about Maravilla, otherwise.

Jessica was most kind to show my daughter around and answer questions even though this was our second visit. She understood our need to follow up from the first visit, so that all our questions could be answered. This made it easier to decide that Marvilla was definitely the place that I wanted to be.

On Sept 9 Maravilla was giving a tour of its newly remodeled memory care unit and that is why we came. While there we asked if someone could give us a tour of a few Assisted Living floor plans. Jessica asked if Christine if she could show us around AL which she happily did and answered all of our questions and did not rush us.

One of the experiences that was most persuasive was the friendliness of everyone of your current residents. People we passed in the hallways; people with whom we were able to chitchat were friendly, happy, and encouraging. Clearly, their pleasure in living there is your very best advertisement.

looking forward to a follow up visit. Rep let us ask all our questions, and filled in the blanks. No pressure! Facility is beautiful and you could not ask 4 more. Units are very basic with the high ceilings being the best feature. Showers with the fiberglass units are not our favorite
