It is a lovely location, very cozy feeling, lots of areas that the residents can enjoy & interact with others. There were lovely apartments, but we wanted more in the kitchen area. Staff that we spoke with were all very kind & friendly!

Adam Ruggeri was very welcoming. He was extremely articulate in his descriptions of the many facets of the Maravilla Scottsdale community. The tour schedule of the Casita model and two vacant Casitas, which were examples of the three different floor plans, was greatly appreciated. Adam’s extensive experience was apparent and appreciated. His overall demeanor made us feel very comfortable. We look forward to a second visit.

All staff encountered were friendly, precise and clear in providing and answering questions. Handouts had the information one needed to clarify what was presented. Food offered was excellent. Although, due to dog restrictions, I would love to move in I’ll have to wait until such time as making a move is possible. I’ll be sure to recommend the facilities to anyone asking. Our thanks to all the staff and chiefs.

I was recently widowed and decided to explore the options of senior living communities. I am an active senior and this was one of the deciding factors in choosing Maravilla Scottsdale as their activities were numerous and varied. I never imagined how much fun it would be and how extremely friendly and welcoming the other residents would be. Truth be told, I literally fell in love with the architecture of the whole community. I felt like I had come home. There are many beautiful garden areas with outdoor dining and seating areas. Another thing that I enjoy is that the dining areas are open continuously. No waiting for a meal in off hours. The meals are absolutely delicious and varied. Well as you can see I must say Maravilla Scottsdale was one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made.

Maravilla has been the home of my brother and his wife for over 10 years. All aspects (living quarters, food, parking, support transportation, activities etc) have been fantastic. But most of all the employees!! Recently my Brother passed away. The Zest Team leader Sharon and assistant Amber were amazing going the extra mile to meet timelines, designed and printed Invitations, Program complete with pictures and graphics and prepared the Maravilla Room for our Celebration of Life. It was a huge success!! Also Sandy and Tracy coordinated the transition of my Sister In Law from Independent Living to the Assisted Living section of Maravilla with compassion and respect. They were so so very helpful and we appreciated their open door policy!

Wow!! Maravilla Assisted Living in Scottsdale is so much better than I could had ever dreamed. As a physician, I have been to many assisted living facilities in the state over the past 38 years and I can tell you that nothing compares to the amazing level of care at Maravilla. I know the reason my father is healthy and thriving there is because of the dedicated staff – so attentive, caring, and always with a smile. And unlike so many other places that have frequent turnover, he has had the same staff and nurses for years. This says so much about all of these angels who day after day go above and beyond. Sandy, the head nurse, is always available and there to help. Everyone I know loves Sandy and her team. She is one of the best nurses I have even known, and knows every detail about every resident. I have even seen the pharmacist call Sandy when she was home on her day off to answer a question – and of course Sandy was happy and eager to help. And all the nursing aides and support staff are truly amazing. When I come to visit my father I feel like they are all friends, and I’d even love to hire away a few but promised Sandy I would not! The truth is that years ago when family was considering Maravilla versus other facilities in Scottsdale and Phoenix, I didn’t realize how amazing the staff were, and actually argued against my father moving into Maravilla, thinking they offered nothing more than any other facility offered. But I admit that I was so wrong and now that he has lived there several years, I understand why Maravilla Assisted living is truly the very best and am grateful he lives there. When you first get there, it is obvious that you feel like you are in a 5-star resort – everything is top notch, high end quality. The outdoor patio furniture is so well built and so comfortable that I even looked to get the same for myself. And my father loves the food – so delicious and with great variety and specials every day. I would prefer to eat there with my father rather than many restaurants in Scottsdale. The grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. I have met so many other residents who could have lived anywhere and have chosen Maravilla from all over the US and even internationally. But at the end of the day, the only thing that really counts is the unequaled level of care you or your loved ones will receive by the nurses, aides, and staff. And that makes Maravilla worth every penny.

My father lived in the independent living section for 4 years before moving to the Enliven memory care unit. This review is about Enliven. I have to say that the care my father received could not have been better and I feel certain that Enliven is one of the best if not the single best memory care in AZ. The facility itself is akin to a high end hotel. It was always clean and well maintained. There are a limited number of places so the feeling was always small and intimate. The most impressive aspect however is the staff. There is very little turnover here as the staff are well compensated. The same excellent carers were looking after my father from day 1 till his last breath. I cannot adequately express in words how grateful I am that my father received such loving and compassionate care during his entire time at Enliven. I really could not have wished for a better experience than what he received at Enliven. In the end his carers thanked me for the privilege of looking after my Dad which was more than ironic as I am the one forever thankful of them. If you have a loved one who needs memory care, I can recommend Enliven with all my heart. Just as I have, one day you will thank your lucky star that you made the right choice in choosing Enliven…

Maravilla is an absolutely beautiful residence for active seniors, with luxurious, impeccably decorated and appointed Casitas, fabulous food and food service, and a wealth of activities and facilities, including an incredible indoor swimming pool and gym. It is a a wonderful place to enjoy retirement in luxury, comfort, and beauty.
