Not only were the staff courteous greeting you with a smile, but most especially, they ( Christine and Alberto ) made me feel at ease, after all, it felt like a job interview. They , including Lucia during my first visit, were very welcoming and provided a thorough information of the facility and what it provides for a Senior such as I.

Excellent customer service from Mariel. She left a highly positive impression and was very customer oriented and thoroughly understood all of our needs and concerns. All of our questions were thoroughly answered.

I was very impressed with the residence. I would grab it in a heartbeat if it weren't for the fact that I really want to stay in SF where my network and interests are. This will be a difficult decision.

John was excellent, knowledgeable and courteous. I was impressed that he took initiative to study Mandarin so that he can better service the Chinese speaking residents.

Very favorably impressed with the facility, the presentation, and that it was possible to speak at length with several residents in addition to staff. Residents all were enthusiastic about Peninsula del Rey. Mariel Terrill combined an impressive ability to listen with a sypmathetic presentation of possibilities for handling the situation. Over all, my two visits were very positive experiences.

I actually met with Byron Sakanari, not John Cantlay. I visited Peninsula del Rey at least 3 times 4 years ago and mostly wanted to know more about assisted living options as my parents situation has evolved.

Mariel was lovely and informative and not in the least bit pushy. My mother, sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We were very impressed with the facilities and staff at Peninsula Del Ray.

My mother checked out several facilities. She chose this one based on the size of the units and the location. I have visited and eaten with her. The staff is very friendly and knew her name when she had not even been there very long. The food is excellent and served in a restaurant atmosphere. The residents all seem to like living there. My mother first had a one bedroom unit but decided she wanted more space so she moved into a two bedroom unit and has a nice view of San Francisco. She has a large closet that I would love to have myself. The facility has a gym, a beauty salon, a hot tub in the center courtyard, a movie room, library and game room. There are lots of activities and you can be as active as you want to be or not want to be. Overall I must say I am very impressed. The whole place has the appearance of a hotel. It doesn't look or smell like some of the assisted living places I have seen. It is the type of senior living facility where I would want to live.
