Fitness boxing is a great mind-body exercise for older adults. Maravilla at The Domain offers a weekly boxing class. The non-contact class is provided in a small group setting, ensuring plenty of social distancing and precautionary measures. Under the guidance of fitness instructors from 413 Fitness, residents work to improve their balance and strength. Research shows boxing is also great to help offset the symptoms of movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease.
