Maravilla has been transformational for my family. Before we moved my mom in to Maravilla, she engaged in a rapidly escalating series of problematic behaviors that drained neighbors, friends, and family. In selecting a community, we prioritized location, living space, a certain continuum of care up to memory care, and a place that every member of our family would enjoy visiting, eating, and hanging out. We found all of it at Maravilla. We were concerned that a move would further destabilize my mother, but nothing could be further from the truth. Since moving to Maravilla, my mother's overall mental health trajectory, which was in a shockingly steep decline, has flattened and even seemed to improve for a while. What's more, I have heard my mother say more positive things in her five months at Maravilla than I have heard her say in the prior 48 years I have known her. My family enjoys frequent meals at Maravilla. I've attended some lovely social events, and I've gotten to know several members of the staff, each of whom should qualify for sainthood. I interact the most with Robin, Ingrid, and the waitstaff, but would also give a shout out to Raquel and Hanna. All are beautiful people. I could not be happier with the decision we made.

This place is staffed by angels. I don’t even have words for how wonderful the people who work there are. They have made a very difficult move into an easy, pain-free, joyful process. I’m so grateful to Hannah, Raquel, Kit, Joni, Ingrid, and Mark. I honestly wouldn’t have been able to move grandma without them. Maravilla is stunning. The food is delicious. The residents are a delight. Give me 30 years and I am moving there too. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Maravilla!

My dad is a resident in the independent living area. They are a little short-staffed due to pandemic employment environment, but the staff is kind and helpful. The food is pretty good and nearby restaurants are plentiful. It’s a beautiful environment.

We joined the "Maravilla family" in Dcember, 2019. Lovely surroundings, superb management/staff, outstanding food, wide variety of entertainment and classes. Great location!! Everyone here is very friendly. Wonderful place to call home! It's better than we anticipated and we anticipated a lot! Richard and Marilyn Bettis

My mother has lived at the Maravilla for about 10 months and she absolutely loves it! Her apartment is lovely, as is the entire facility. The employees are so gracious and helpful, which reflects the professionalism of the director who is extremely knowledgeable of his industry. The food in the dining room is delicious. There are plenty of activities in which the residents can engage if they choose. The Maravilla has done an excellent job in keeping residents safe from Covid. I am so thankful! They have been creative in their ways of allowing families to see loved ones. Maravilla has wonderful amenities including dining, a movie theatre, a gym, a pool which has not yet been completed but they are making progress, an art room, a game room and a salon with an amazing stylist - to name a few. They have tiered senior living to accommodate different levels of care. It is so refreshing to see my mom so happy after her experience at her last facility. I highly recommend Maravilla.

In late 2017, my mom moved into an independent living community here in Austin. She had a lovely experience there until the manager left. Over half moved out because of safety issues, poor service and poor food. It was important that we find my then 88 year old mom a place that offered the best. After visiting Maravilla, we found it: a community that is rich in all that will allow my mom to "age in place" and be happy, a total experience she has earned and deserves. Maravilla's manager, Mark Ranno, is an involved, aware and caring manager. He understands all that older people need to keep their minds and bodies thriving. Somehow he has managed to keep COVID at bay, too. He has been great both before and after quarantine, great at keeping both residents and families involved and aware of changes in the community. He is able to manage well without being intrusive. We love Kit, the leading manager. We were lucky to know her from my mom's former community. While many who have her job drop out of sight after renting an apartment, Kit never does. She stays involved in the community at large and with each resident. She was known for visiting residents in hospital or rehab, although no one else did. Her love for the residents is infectious. Maravilla was lucky to get her. Because she has knowledge of each resident and cares about the community, she has filled the place with people together live well together. The dining manager, Tim, is amazing. He has made sure that good food has been available throughout. Chef Seth is so talented, surpassing all the restaurants at the Domain at which I've eaten! I loved dining with my mom before the pandemic hit and will enjoy doing so after. The dining room is large and non-instituional. They offer a patio with a great grill, too. My mom's apartment is gorgeous, especially the view. Her housekeeping services are reliable. Everything at Maravilla is kept pristine. My mom especially enjoys all tje experiences that Amber, the Zest for Life manager, creates for the residents, even the virtual experiences. I am amazed at her creativity. Experiences when no more than 10 can gather must be very different than those she is accustomed to creating. I quickly learned from my mom's last place how important these experiences are for creating a cohesive and enjoyable community. Maravilla has done this very well. They offer a movie theater and a full service salon. My mom is a particular fan of Darryl who styles her hair but also makes her laugh. He is great! My mom lived in her own home in Houston. She was happy, involved in her community and in her church. She had so many friends in her neighborhood and beyond. Having never experienced a community like this, we didn't realize that she could actually improve in an independent community. She has at Maravilla where her friends are right outside her door, literally. She dines with people her age who share many of her wider memories. Every dining experience brings her the opportunity to make new friends. Tim and his staff are wonderful. They know their residents so can help foster friendships by thoughfully seating residents. I have learned how important this is for almost 90 year old mom. To stay emotionally healthy, she needs all the well curated experinces that Maravilla offers. We expect the best for our mom. We have found the best at Maravilla. We researched Senior Resources Group, especially as Maravilla seemed to be their 1st community in Texas. We were impressed. Unlike those that owned my mom's 1st community, we don't believe that SRG will desert their residents and families. We believe that Maravilla will only grow better and are excited to be a part of this thriving, caring community. I highly recommend!
