Learn the Rain Dance

August 17 4:00pm

In late August, when it’s quite dry, Native American tribes would do a rain dance, a ritual still performed today. Join us as we explore the rich history of the rain dance. “Native Spirit” will be at the community for a sacred performance, demonstrating the intricacies of the dance as well as a celebratory hoop and shawl dance. Residents and guests are encouraged to wear turquoise to help elicit the rain. Our culinary team has also planned delicious American-Indian inspired hors d’oeuvres. Reservations for you and a friend can be made by calling 480.630.3158.
