Our family is tremendously grateful for La Vida Real. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained. Our mother has a nice large apartment in the assisted living side, and so appreciates the hardworking staff. Having her apartment cleaned every week, her laundry done, sheets and towels laundered, as well as the delicious food she enjoys in the lovely dining room 3 times a day - she can't believe her good fortune to be living at La Vida Real. We, her family, are particularly thankful for the caregivers. They truly get to know the residents and work extremely hard to provide the very best care. Knowing our mother is safe and happy gives us such peace of mind. Thank you LVR!

Very professional staff. Beautiful facility. Great location. Easy access to shopping and YMCA. Movies, Casino. Great food. Top of the line Menu. Tranquil and pleasing garden areas. Pool and lounge areas. Night lighting is fantastic. Makes you feel like your vacationing.

We are way too young for this. Most of the residents are in their 80’s and the programs are really catering to people who Have or soon will have mobility issues. Also we were a little disappointed that the presentation was all about the food and really didn’t highlight all of the other things at the facility. Because we were there for over a day we had our own opportunity to explore so we felt like we weren’t short changed in this regard

Ashley has been awesome to work with! She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and has made sure to follow up and provide answers to all of our family's questions as we continue to weigh our options for my grandmother's care. One thing I also have really appreciated is that Ashley is not a pushy sales person, simply trying to sell us on your community. I have been in contact with the sales team at Westmont in La Mesa and have felt a bit turned off by their sales department. We have really felt like Ashley has been working in partnership with our family to find the best fit for our loved one. This has definitely set your community apart from others we have looked at. :)

The associate that assisted me was Kennia Nguyen and her name did not appear for me to check. I understand that she’s new. Kennia was very professional and did an excellent job in her presentation. She was very personable and I felt that she was concerned about me and my mother’s situation. She even sent me a video next day of another unit that became available for me to review. Unfortunately, it was determined that the best place for my mom is her current situation. La Vida Real is first class and you have a “real gem†in Kennia!

This is a quality property and all personnel we met were engaging and of high calibre. Our reservations are mostly the financial commitment as this property is about $1,220-2400 more monthly than comparable at another location we like. Again very high quality property and we won't discount it over price.

The first time I visited LaVida Real 6 years ago the sales rep was not interested in helping me at all. It seemed all that she cared about was rushing me out of her office. This visit was completely different and I felt 'heard'. Very few people really listen these days and I felt so impressed that Jenna actually listened to what was important to me and helped to steer me in the direction to meet my goals.

When we were looking for a facility for my parents in the East County, we found La Vida Real. From meeting with Jenna and Bonnie they were very knowledgeable about the options for them. It was comforting to know that mom and dad could stay here together for the rest of their lives and not have to move apartments if one needs more care. All the care would be done in the same apartment. Cristi, the Assited Living Director, assessed them and let us know exactly what their care would be. I was also very impressed by the length of employment of the staff and how many have been there since the beginning. So happy we made this choice.

Ms. Hay did an outstanding job of presenting this beautiful and comprehension senior community to me and my friend. Also every staff member we met was so gracious and accommodating. We were treated to lunch and my goodness, I wish I could go there daily and pay to have their delicious food. La Vida Real is a beautiful community. The staff and residents were happy, friendly and courteous. I had a fantastic visit and I’m hoping my father will feel the same way. I hope to be moving him in soon!!!!
