Our One Day University Lecture heads “across the pond” for “Elizabeth II, The Platinum Queen: 70 Years of British History.” Under the guidance of Dr. Julie Anne Taddeo, a research professor of history at the University of Maryland, residents will delve into the personal and political history of Elizabeth’s reign, including how she learned from previous monarchs as she navigated the post-World War II world.
