Women's History Month recognizes the great contributions that women have made to our nation. SRG senior living communities are also celebrating women by hosting fascinating workshops, lectures and special events. At The Village at NorthRidge in Northridge, Calif., residents welcomed historical impressionist Suzan Gallerito, who brought Betsy Ross to life. Ross is perhaps the best-known figure from the American Revolutionary era who wasn't a president, general or statesman. At SpringRidge at Charbonneau in Wilsonville, Ore., residents will be intrigued by certified handwriting expert Joyce Brizendine as the discusses the personalities of the “First Ladies” through their writing.
