Los Angeles-based radio station KNX recently named The Village at Sherman Oaks’ Trisha Nash “Hero of the Week.”
Nash serves as a Program Assistant for Enliven, The Village’s onsite memory care community, and has dedicated her career to helping older adults in honor of her grandmother. She says it is important to improve residents’ quality of life and provide stimulation through fun activities, outings and fitness.
As part of the “Hero of the Week” radio segment, KNX Traffic Anchor Jennifer York shared her own experience with Nash and that of her mother, who lives at The Village: This woman makes such an impact! And when I can’t be there, I can count on my mother having a good day because of Trisha.”
