The Commission of Accreditation on Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) has awarded The Village at Ocotillo, a luxury senior living community in Chandler, its fourth three-year accreditation.
Similar to a five-star rating in the hospitality industry, this certification is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a retirement community. To receive the three-year accreditation outcome, The Village at Ocotillo completed a rigorous peer review process in which they effectively demonstrated the mastery of more than 1,000 CARF standards. The accreditation applies to the community’s Independent Living and Assisted Living programs.
CARF surveyors commended The Village at Ocotillo’s positive, homelike environment, where staff, residents, and family feel welcomed. They also noted how staff and management work together to be responsive to individual resident’s needs, concerns, and special requests. Residents said they enjoyed freedom of choice, and staff members shared numerous examples of how they successfully create meaningful routines with their residents.

This fourth consecutive accreditation from CARF reflects our commitment to our residents’ comfort and well-being.”
Comprised of 120 residences, The Village at Ocotillo’s luxury one- and two-bedroom residences include fully equipped kitchens, washer/dryers, wall-to-wall carpet and window treatments, individual climate controls and covered patios. The community’s wealth of on-site amenities include: a 12-hour restaurant with outdoor patio, fully equipped fitness center, movie theatre, Internet lounge, Village market, arts and crafts room, library, club lounge, bistro, swimming pool and spa, and full service beauty salon.
