The Village at NorthRidge’s Bradlee Foerschner earned the prestigious honor of being named “Outstanding Executive Director” by the California Assisted Living Association (CALA).
The award was presented during the advocacy association’s fall conference and recognizes CALA-member communities across the state “who step up and reach beyond the boundaries of their job description to support the care and wellbeing of residents, help fellow team members and lead with strength.”
Foerschner was nominated by Zest Director Tristan Garcia, who praised her ability to inspire and motivate the active retirement community’s team into knowing they have the power to make a true difference in the lives of residents.
Among the many significant achievements praised by CALA was Foerschner’s ability to create a sense of togetherness and wellbeing that enriched residents’ mind, body and soul throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Her role in spearheading the launch of the full season of The Village at NorthRidge’s Golden Mic Experience, a podcast dedicated to breaking stereotypes around aging and age-related norms, was also commended.
“CALA is proud to recognize Bradlee for her incredible leadership and impact on the profession,” said the organization in a statement.
