Study Finds Aerobic Exercise Can Reverse Cognitive Decline
07-29-2017

A new report found that aerobic exercise can reverse the cognitive decline in people with Alzheimer’s disease for the short term. Of the over 1,000 study participants, those who exercised 140 minutes weekly on average experienced more improvement in cognitive function. At our communities, including those offering memory care, exercise is just one of the many ways we work to improve residents’ cognitive function. Each week, there are numerous opportunities for fitness and aerobic exercise. Plus, classes are designed to motivate and engage all fitness levels.
