SRG Residents Give Back
08-14-2018

Scientists have linked charitable acts and behaviors with the release of endorphins in the brain. This release produces a positive feeling known as the “helper’s high”. At Senior Resource Group communities, residents volunteer both within the community as well as the external community. For example, residents at Amber Lights in Tucson, Arizona, gather monthly to crochet blankets, scarves and shawls for different local charities. At The Foothills at Simi Valley in Calif., residents recently spent the morning at a nearby preschool reading stories to children. We’re honored to have these tireless volunteers call our communities home!
