Thanks to SRG senior living communities’ maintenance-free lifestyle, residents find they no have more time to support organizations and causes near and dear to their hearts. At The Village at NorthRidge in California, residents will lace up their sneakers in support of the Alzheimer’s Association. They are participating in the annual “Walk to End Alzheimer’s.” Later in October, residents at Silver Springs in Arizona will go pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The senior living community’s South Courtyard will be set up with social distancing in mind. Residents will enjoy pink lemonade, cookies and treats, music, games and more to celebrate the progress being made in the fight against breast cancer.
