Sunday, September 9th is National Grandparents Day. Our Zest Directors have planned family-friendly activities designed to encourage the bond between residents and their grandchildren and great-grands. At The Chateau on Capitol Avenue, our senior living community in Sacramento, Calif., residents’ families are invited to attend a Grandparents’ Day Carnival – perfect for the young and young at heart! There will be games, prizes, popular carnival food, and a caricature artist to commemorate the day. The Carnival is just one of the many ways Grandparents Day is being celebrated across our communities.
