Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is observed on the third Monday in January. The holiday pays tribute to the civil rights icon. At SpringRidge at Charbonneau, our active retirement community in Wilsonville, Ore., there will be a “Remembering Martin” program. Residents and guests will watch his moving “I Have a Dream” speech and reflect on his contributions to race relations in our nation.
