SpringRidge Residents "Bathe" in the Forest
08-16-2019

Known in Japan as shinrinyoku, forest bathing is taking in the natural world through your senses. Today, residents at SpringRidge at Charbonneau, our Wilsonville, Oregon active retirement community, will spend the morning at Tryon Creek State Park. They’ll “bathe” in the beauty of the trees, sunshine and fresh air as Zest Director Cindy Foster shares her extensive knowledge of local trees, plants and wildlife. The calming presence of hiking can lower blood pressure and relieve stress.
