Residents at SpringRidge at Charbonneau in Wilsonville, Ore., are gathering this month for a very special community service project. Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, they are signing Hanukkah and Christmas cards for U.S. troops who are deployed overseas or who will be away from their loved ones during the holidays. They are also writing notes of thanks and encouragement to the soldiers. SpringRidge residents are involved in another project that will benefit veterans as well. They are collecting gently used books for our troops, VA hospitals and military families. We’re proud of the community for supporting our military personnel.
