Wilsonville, Ore. (March 3, 2016) – SpringRidge at Charbonneau, a Senior Resource Group (SRG) retirement community in Wilsonville, Ore., has been awarded its fifth three-year accreditation by the Commission of Accreditation on Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This award is an endorsement of SpringRidge at Charbonneau’s whole continuum of care including independent, assisted living and memory care programs.
A three-year accreditation is the highest level of validation that a community can receive, and exemplifies a company’s commitment to quality services, exceptional programming and personalized care. To earn five consecutive three-year awards is also indicative of how well a senior living community monitors and improves services, welcome and respond resident and family member’s feedback, and their meets residents’ changing needs.
CARF is an international, nonprofit organization that has accredited health and human services providers for the last 50 years, in an effort to promote and ensure the quality of care and services provided. To achieve accreditation, a senior living community must demonstrate comprehensive conformance to more than 1,000 standards that measure the effectiveness of management and communication, programs and activities, and interaction with outside agencies regarding additional services for residents.
CARF officials commended SpringRidge at Charbonneau on its warm and welcoming environment, manicured garden and grounds, person-centered care, exceptional dietary and culinary offerings, and enriching and engaging programming.
“A three-year accreditation is the equivalent of a five star rating in the hospitality industry,” said Ron Mead, vice president of operations for SRG. “To earn the support of a third-party organization like CARF provides our residents greater confidence in the genuineness of the programs, services and care they’ll receive here.”
Developed and operated by SRG, SpringRidge at Charbonneau offers a hospitality-centered lifestyle, first-rate amenities and services and a full calendar of social, cultural, recreational and educational programs and activities. SpringRidge’s resort-style features include: The French Prairie Grille Restaurant, open 12 hours daily, a fully equipped fitness center, theater, activity/game room, library, computer room, club lounge and full-service beauty salon.
