In honor of Earth Day, residents at SpringRidge at Charbonneau in Wilsonville, Ore., created personalized terrariums. The project served as a reminder of how our ecosystem works and the importance of maintaining its natural, self-sustaining balance. In addition to the Earth-friendly activity, residents were able to take their terrarium to their residence where they can proudly show it off. Research shows there are numerous health benefits associated with having a plant in one’s home, including helping with respiratory discomfort.
