Just in time for Flag Day on June 14th, our Silver Springs community in Green Valley, Ariz., is hosting a flag exchange.
The general public is invited to bring in their worn U.S. flag to receive a new one. The old flags will be delivered to the American Legion Post for proper disposal.
Silver Springs’ Sales Director Cynthia Valencia was recently interviewed by the local paper, Green Valley News, and said: “No matter what your political views are or which side you’re on, patriotism comes from the heart. We must be decent human beings, care, help and do good.”
