Arbor Day, observed on April 26th, is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees. It is celebrated in many countries around the world and, our senior living community, Rivers Edge in Sacramento, California, is joining the movement. Residents will visit a local tree nursery to purchase supplies and plants and then participate in a group planting of the trees on the community’s grounds. Everyone is sure to feel proud of the role they’ll play in adding to the beauty of River’s Edge for years to come.
