Residents at The Village at Ocotillo Create "Layers of Love" for Cancer Patients
08-12-2016

The side effects of chemotherapy are hard on patients, and especially hard on children. One of those side effects is being susceptible to cold. At The Village at Ocotillo in Chandler, Ariz., residents made hand-tied fleece blankets to donate to the young and most vulnerable chemotherapy patients at a local hospital. Without the day-to-day responsibilities of cooking, cleaning and home maintenance, residents at SRG senior living communities say they now have time to spend the day as they wish, including charitable endeavors such as this.
