And they’re off! The Kentucky Derby is being held today and it’s often referred to as “the greatest two minutes in sports”. Now in its 143rd year, the event is synonymous with mint juleps (the drink has been a traditional beverage at the Kentucky Derby for nearly a century) and fancy hats. Our communities are hosting Kentucky Derby parties and inviting residents to wear their most outrageous, festive hats while sipping on the signature drink. Everyone should have a blast at the event as they root for their favorite thoroughbred.
