At Villa Hermosa in Tucson, Ariz., it’s all hands on deck for a community-wide volunteer project. The active retirement community has a longstanding partnership with The Primavera Foundation, which provides assistance for the area’s homeless. Later this month, Villa Hermosa’s executive chef and his talented culinary team will prepare a delicious menu for the Foundation’s nearly 150 clients. The community’s residents will also be part of the program, volunteering to serve the food. Both residents and staff relish opportunities to give back and be of service to others.
