Residents, employees and community VIPs recently came together to celebrate the grand-reopening of Peninsula Del Rey, an active retirement community in Daly City, Calif.
Peninsula Del Rey opened its door in 2007, quickly becoming the area’s most sought-after residence for older adults seeking a maintenance-free lifestyle with five-star amenities and services.
The community recently underwent extensive renovations and celebrated the completion with a Grand-Reopening Masquerade Open House. Daly City Mayor Juslyn Manalo, San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa, and members of Daly City Council were on hand to present a proclamation declaring October 26th “Peninsula Del Rey Day”. In presenting the recognition, Canepa praised Peninsula Del Rey’s staff for their “efforts in connecting professionals and building stronger communities”.
“It’s so exciting to receive this amazing honor,” said Executive Director Alfredo Cruz. “We are proud of the entire Peninsula Del Rey team for their ongoing hard work. We’re also grateful to all the wonderful residents and family members who entrust us to deliver unparalleled care and services.”
