Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Observed Across SRG Communities
12-7-2016

On December 7, 1941, the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor was attacked. Often regarded as “a day that will live in infamy”, it’s a time to remember those who lost their lives in the attack and during World War II. SpringRidge at Charbonneau in Wilsonville, Ore., held a special “Where Were You During WWII” luncheon and invited the community’s veterans to share their stories. The event is just one of many the community hosts to acknowledge the service of resident-veterans. A “Wall of Honor” is also permanently on display at SpringRidge, showcasing residents’ military careers.
