November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, designed to bring awareness to the disease which affects almost 6 million Americans. Maravilla in Santa Barbara, CA residents will come together as a community – while apart – to shed a spotlight on Alzheimer’s disease. Residents and staff will don their favorite purple attire and lace up their sneakers for a good cause. The goal will be to complete a combined total of 100 loops around the active retirement community’s spacious grounds. Donations will be accepted and matched by Maravilla. Proceeds will be donated to the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
