Each month, SRG senior living communities host a “Let’s Dish” session, inviting residents to meet with the culinary team to learn about upcoming menu options and participate in interactive cooking demonstrations. In August, our chefs are highlighting the health benefits of superfood kale. They are showing residents how to think outside the salad bowl. At Narrows Glen in Tacoma, Washington, for example, the chef will create a delicious breakfast incorporating kale, banana, quinoa, wheatgrass, pomegranate seeds, kiwi and pumpkin seeds.
