Just in time for Halloween, residents at Narrows Glen in Washington are participating in a fun, intergenerational project. The senior living community is partnering with Geiger Elementary School for a Pumpkin Exchange. Residents and students will both visit a local pumpkin patch where they’ll pick out pumpkins to carve and decorate with their own unique style. The children will then visit Narrows Glen with their pumpkins and exchange them for jack-o’-lanterns the residents created. Residents will also hand out prizes to the students for all their hard work.
