Our senior living communities are pausing to reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Narrows Glen in Tacoma, will honor the icon of the Civil Rights Movement by hosting a gospel concert featuring the talented Tommie Burton, worship leader for Madonna Grace Presbyterian Church and a member of the Northwest African American Cultural Ensemble. He will be accompanied by jazz pianist and singer Carolyn Grace for the tribute performance. To add to the festivities, the culinary team has planned delicious Southern-inspired hors d’oeuvres.
