Each year, our senior living communities host a “From the Heart” initiative, inviting residents to volunteer or give back to those in need. Narrows Glen in Washington is honoring the late Betty White by supporting the Pierce County Humane Society. Residents and staff will deliver funds and pet supplies collected during a community-wide drive. Research shows acts of kindness benefit both the recipient and the giver.
