Dear Friends, Partners, and Extended Family,

For all of us at SRG, senior living is more than a business, it’s a calling. And now we’re being called to meet a moment unlike any other before. This is a challenging and stressful time for our industry, our communities, our residents and their families. We serve a population that is being hit particularly hard by the COVID-19 virus, and that makes it personal to all of us.

In these unprecedented times, we are working tirelessly to provide the support and care necessary to get through this together. The health and safety of our residents, staff, and partners remains our top priority and primary concern. 

We are actively monitoring the advice provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and our local, state and national governments. The landscape is evolving rapidly, with new requirements and guidelines changing by the hour. We’ll evolve along with it, staying nimble, making strategic, proactive and sure decisions, based on the best available current information, and rolling out enhanced measures accordingly. This is a collaborative effort, especially with our residents’ families, whose understanding regarding stricter visitation policies I honor deeply and don’t for a minute take for granted. Together we will get through this.

And, while we haven’t had to respond to COVID-19 before, we have seen other respiratory illnesses. We understand and are versed in implementing stringent protocols, tools that will help us face this very fluid situation.  We’re committed to constantly adding additional preventative measures and screenings on a real-time, rolling basis as needed. I’m deeply inspired by the exceptional and tireless efforts I’m seeing our team members make to help protect our communities during this difficult time.

In life we never know when we’ll be called to a higher purpose. For us, that moment is now. And I’m confident the SRG family of residents, their families and our team members will rise to meet it, getting through this together, discovering new ways to care and help. We are here for you and will continue to keep you updated in the days and weeks ahead.
