When Maravilla Scottsdale residents Marlowe and Sandy – avid Green Bay Packers fans – learned the team’s quarterback was competing in the Waste Management Phoenix Open next door to the senior living community, they donned their team jerseys and hoped for even a glimpse of the star athlete.
What happened next was the encounter of a lifetime! Aaron Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, walked over to the ladies, sat in the grass with them and chatted about life at Maravilla Scottsdale and, of course, football.
