Maravilla Scottsdale Residents Have Out-of-this-World Experiences

Residents at Maravilla Scottsdale in Arizona are having out-of-this-world experiences in honor of World Space Week. As part of the observance, the active retirement community held an educational seminar on the space race. Residents also visited Lowell Observatory, where the dwarf planet Pluto was discovered in 1930, and Meteor Crater, the world’s best-preserved meteorite impact site. A college-level course, offered through Maravilla Scottsdale’s partnership with Arizona State University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, will highlight the Northern Lights, the bright, dancing lights seen above the magnetic poles of the northern and southern hemispheres.
