In honor of National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, residentsand staff at Maravilla Scottsdale, our active retirement community in Arizona, will don their favorite purple clothing to bring attention to the disease which affects 47 million people worldwide. Additionally, a weekly Healthy Happy Hour will feature purple smoothies full of nutrients for brain health such as blueberries, avocado and chai seeds. At SRG, we know Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases can beincredibly challenging for the entire family.
