March is Women’s History Month. One of our active retirement communities in Arizona - Maravilla Scottsdale – is celebrating the accomplishments of women all month long. The community has invited Arizona State University professor Allen Reamer to share his course on “Modern & Contemporary Women Artists”. Additionally, residents will visit the Western Spirit Museum to see the Marjorie Thomas exhibit which features the artist’s work during a time when the state’s early art community was almost entirely male. A financial seminar, “Women in Investing” is also scheduled for later this month.
