Our communities are all decked out for the holidays as residents count down to Hanukkah, Christmas and the New Year. From festive outings and onsite activities, there is a holiday spin to everything! Even our fitness classes are joining the fun. At Maravilla in Santa Barbara, fitness instructor Kelsey Roberts is encouraging residents to “walk outside the box” by coordinating a “Festive Flaire Hike.” Everyone will dress in holiday attire and head to nearby Elwood Bluffs Trailhead. Research shows exercising in the great outdoors provides a wealth of benefits, such as improving one’s mood and mental health boost.
