In the spirit of giving back this holiday season, residents at Maravilla at The Domain joined the Austin Police Department’s Operation Blue Santa to spread joy to children and families.
In its 49th year, Operation Blue Santa served more than 5,000 families within the greater Austin community during the 2021 holiday season. Over the course of five weeks toys and monetary donations were collected by residents of the independent, assisted and memory care towers to join in helping Operation Blue Santa meet their goals to provide for those during Christmas. On December 9, 2021 members of the Austin Police Department visited Austin’s premier senior living community to receive a plethora of toys collected and a check for over $1,200 from Maravilla’s residents. Residents and APD members delighted in photos and holiday cheer.
