Many of our communities have ongoing partnerships with the prestigious Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). At Maravilla Scottsdale in Arizona for example, the active retirement community has collaborated with OLLI at Arizona State University to offer residents college-level course on a variety of subject matter. Among the many courses being offered is “Jazz Themes: TV and Movies from the 1950s-1990s”. Instructor Dom Moio will take “students” back in time to hear and learn about the composers and jazz versions of popular theme songs such as “I Love Lucy!” and “Mission Impossible”.
