August 1st is known as “Dogust 1st,” the universal birthday for shelter dogs. At La Siena in Phoenix, like all SRG senior living communities, is home to many four-legged residents and everyone has a special spot for their furry friends searching for forever homes. The active retirement community will celebrate “Dogust” all month long! La Siena is partnering with the local Humane Society and encouraging residents to donate items for the organization’s wish list such as food, leashes and more. Residents enjoy many opportunities to support noteworthy causes.
