At Hawthorn Court at Ahwatukee, our award-winning memory care community in Phoenix, residents are reaping the health benefits of music and evoking strong memories. “Songs by Heart”, a nonprofit organization, brings classically trained, professional singers to engage with residents each week. In addition to forming bonds through live music, the program has been recognized for creating the opportunity for residents with memory issues to access memories and functionality in a different, joyful way.
