PHOENIX, Ariz. (December 15, 2015) – Senior Resource Group (SRG) announced today the naming of new executive director, Logan Johnston to the company’s award-winning Hawthorn Court memory care community in Phoenix, Arizona.
Previously the assistant executive director at the company’s La Siena community, Johnston brings 6 years of experience in health and human services to Hawthorn Court, including specific experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer’s or dementia. In addition to holding an Arizona Assisted Living Manager license and Arizona Assisted Living Caregiver Certification, Johnston is also a trained facilitator for Alzheimer’s Support Group Leadership through the Alzheimer’s Association – Desert Southwest Chapter.
As executive director, Johnston’s responsibilities at Hawthorn Court will include: overall operations and staff management, working directly with residents and their families, and ensuring that SRG’s elevated Genuine Hospitality promise and award-winning InTouch® Dementia Care Program is consistently being provided.

Johnston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Auburn University and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from LaGrange College. She has been recognized as an Arizona ALFA Shining Star and Arizona ALFA activity director of the year. In addition, Johnston has been a volunteer for Alabama Coalition for Culture Change, and organization that is committed to the task of challenging present attitudes, perceptions and beliefs about aging.
