Jean S., a resident at The Carlisle Naples in Southwest Florida, celebrated her 101st birthday by cycling eight miles to help her neighbors at the active retirement community compete in the first annual Tour de Zest.
A spin on the famed cycling event, Tour de Zest encourages The Carlisle’s residents and staff to log their miles during a 10-day completion to earn the top award among Senior Resource Group’s 32 communities.
The local media, including Naples Daily News and WINK-TV profiled Jean’s unique birthday celebration. She’s proof that you’re as young as you feel!
