Our senior living communities across the country will celebrate Black History Month, observed annually in February. At The Grove at Cerritos in California, for example, residents are invited to participate in various activities that spotlight African Americans' accomplishments. Among the highlights will be documentary screenings, story-telling and immersive art. The celebration will culminate with an educational program hosted by the Executive Director and Director of Assisted Living.
