Benefit Fashion Show at The Carlisle Raises Funds for Local School

At The Carlisle Naples, our active retirement community in Southwest Florida, residents have formed a long-standing relationship with local school, Sabal Palm Elementary. As part of its ongoing mission to support the school, The Carlisle recently hosted a “Spring into Styles” Benefit Luncheon & Fashion Show. Residents – turned fashion models – showed off the season’s hottest trends from local boutique Casual Connections. Over $2,300 was raised during the event which will be used to take students on an end-of-year trip to the Golisano Children’s Museum to reward their scholastic achievements. Research shows that when young and old come together to form fun, meaningful relationships, both generations reap a wealth of emotional and physical benefits including improved self-esteem and overall health.
