Bernice C., a talented artist at Amber Lights in Tucson, Ariz., recently gifted the Northwest Fire District a hand-made painting. The artwork acknowledged their commitment and dedication to her and her neighbors at the active retirement community.
"I wanted to thank them and represent Amber Lights because they help us and I realized the responsibility they have," Cross said.
The painting of a majestic eagle in flight took three weeks to complete because Bernice said she wanted it to be as perfect as possible. She credits Amber Lights' maintenance-free lifestyle with affording her the newfound time to dedicate to her hobby.
