Visit the San Fernando Mission

January 16 10:30am

Residents of The Foothills at Simi Valley will participate in a day-trip to the Archival center of the San Fernando mission. The mission serves as the document repository for the Archdiocese of  San Francisco. The church itself was built in 1791 as the 17th of 31 mission outposts established by Franciscan monks along El Camino Real. After a tour of the archives, participants will enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.
