Dance to Better Health

Zumba is a popular dance exercise program based on South American rhythms and steps.  At The Village at Sherman Oaks, an instructor leads the high-energy, low-impact class. During the sessions, residents dance to lively music and use weights and stretchy bands for strength and resistance and shaker sticks for rhythm. The class is just one of many fitness programs offered at the active retirement community.
